Deaconess
Deaconesses are responsible for ministering to the practical needs within the Church body. They prepare the Communion elements, assist the sick and needy within the Church family, assist in preparing for baptism, and supervise meal preparation for families in need. Our Deaconesses enjoy serving the body of Christ in these and many other ways.
Currently serving as Deaconesses are: Marilyn Kundson, Betty Hopwood, Kathy Funk, Deanna McBride, Rhonda Woodward, Marilyn Zimmerman, Alison Broaddus, Ginny Hall, Joanne Reed, Donna Benson and Christine Sharp.
Qualifications are found in 1 Timothy 3:11, 1 Timothy 2:9 and Titus 2:3-5.
