Deacons
Deacons are responsible for ministering to the practical needs within the Church body. This includes meeting both the needs of members of the church body as well as the physical maintenance of the buildings and property. The newly formed Trustee group assist them in the area of the buildings and property.
Qualifications for Deacon are outlined primarily in Acts 6:1-6 and 1 Timothy 3:8-13
Grant Taylor
Grant and his wife, Sandy, have been attending Twain Harte Bible Church for 13 years. This will be Grant's fourth year as a deacon. They were married the day after Christmas in 1967 and are into their 45th year. Upon retiring, they moved to Twain Harte from the Tri Valley and now live in Jupiter in the middle of the national forest where they are stewards of a small piece of God's earth.
They love to serve others, travel in their travel trailer, and spend time with family. With two daughters and their "daddy-do" lists, they manage to keep busy.
