Senior Pastor - Matt Funk
Pastor Matt came to Twain Harte Bible Church, first as our Youth Pastor, but after serving in that capacity for 3 years, was then called as our Senior Pastor in 2005 where he has served as a passionate and gifted preacher/teacher of God's Word, binging to life the scriptures through his sermons and studies. He and his wife, Kathy are both originally from Canada, as you'll recognize from their slight accent. Married in 1996, they have four children. Pastor Matt, or PM as he is often referred, thrives on seeing people studying and applying God's Word to their lives. In an age where many preachers have watered down the Scriptures, PM unashamedly speaks the truth with abandon, considering it a privilege to serve the body at Twain Harte Bible Church.
Director of Christian Education - Stephanie Torok
Stephanie is passionate about the teaching of and obedience to God's Word. She oversees Sunday School classes from babies through adults, the teaching of our Children's Church program, seasonal family ministries, and church promoted Bible studies. Her heart is also drawn to community outreach as she teaches and helps support Child Evangelism Fellowship in after school Bible clubs in the county. Stephanie and her husband, Mike, have two children, as well as the blessings of his grandparents as a daily part of her life. She was an elementary school teacher for seventeen years prior to joining our church leadership in 2007.
Youth Director - Noel Rathmel
Noel came to us after serving as a youth director in Arizona and we have enjoyed having him serve with our youth here at THEFC. Noel is a graduate of Southwestern College in Phoenix, Arizona. He really enjoys working with teens and seeing them make life-changing decisions for Christ. His goal is to bring them to a realization that their relationship with Christ must be their own and must be growing. God has blessed him with a beautiful wife, Jasmine, and their son Bryce. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports and being outdoors. He always likes meeting new people and hopes to see you soon!
Secretary - Tammy Bounds
Tammy Bounds is our church secretary managing our church office during the week. She and her husband Bobby have been married 30 years and have two grown children and three grandchildren. She was raised in the home of a pastor/teacher and accepted Christ at age 9. Tammy has a passion for women's ministries, event planning and teaching God's word. She enjoys working in the office and getting to know the people that God has brought into this body of believers.
