ReachGlobal – Birmingham City Team
THEFC is now supporting two members of EFCA’s ReachGlobal City Team in Birmingham, England – the family of JJ and KD, who previously served for over 13 years in Russia.
For security reasons, we cannot say much about their ministry, nor can we spell out their names, but you can see their pictures on this page.
Ministry in Europe today is difficult. With a population of less than 2% evangelical Christians, ReachGlobal Europe is finding creative ways to reach the post-modern European culture with the gospel of Jesus Christ. ReachGlobal is passionately using innovative methods to plant churches – art and music, coffee and English clubs, alpha groups and theological education, even business as missions. Whatever it takes to build God’s kingdom!
And the ministry in Birmingham is no less challenging. The city is predominately Muslim, a particularly difficult religion and culture to break through. The Birmingham team has used many of the above “creative” methods to build relationships and trust, so they have the ability to share the love of Jesus Christ.
