In this email I just want to thank you for your prayers and support and share how God is leading us in this life:

Petrov family: Victor, Lana, Cornil, Andy, and Igor - we all are doing OK, kids are growing, we are getting old, sorry, mature!

During Spring 2007 semester I am videotaping two courses in TIU. Praise the Lord all the obstacles are gone and videotaping goes well!

Dr Cole class on Biblical Interpretation is very big, I guess it is the biggest class in TEDS during the Spring 2007 semester. Dr Cole with his British accent is teaching great, students enjoy it!

This course is a perfect fit for our main target group in the countries of Former Soviet Union– students and graduates of higher educational institutions – future and, sometimes, present leaders. The course is very Christ-centered, it leads these who never studied the Bible, but capable to study on high level ,from the beginning to the end! From Fall of man, through the Law to the Cross, to Resurrection and to the New Jerusalem! This is exactly what we need as a basic course for Graduate level Video Courses in Russian!

Dr. Graham Cole is a very friendly Christian, his teaching approach fits very well with what we need for our video courses! Praise the Lord!
By the way, Dr. Cole’s grandparents lived in Ukraine over 100 years ago, what a connection! They were persecuted, and now Dr. Cole graciously sends Good News to Russian speaking people, it is amazing Grace in work!

As you know, Dr John Feinberg is on our video again. This time I record his “The Problem of Evil” course. Sixteen the most philosophically thinking graduate level and PhD students decided to take this extremely challenging course! So far they all (and I) are puzzled by three seemingly contradicting statements:

  1. God is omnipotent – He can do everything!
  2. God is good, holy, He loves people!
  3. The evil exist!

Is there any way all of these statements can co-exist and can be true at the same time?  We will see!

I can imagine how Russian video seminary viewers and students will also be so much captivated by these dilemmas! I can see how many thinking people in Russia and everywhere Russians and Rusian speaking people live now, would like to go through this course! The matter of fact ,many Russians are not as practical as Americans, they rather inherited eastern Orthodox, mystical traditions, they like to think and philosophize about global concepts. (Even after they drink they like to talk philosophy)!

As we share the Gospel, many of them ask us: If you God is so loving, why people suffer? If your God is a Creator, if He is holy, why there is evil in the world?
This course will be highly demanded and copied thousands times among thinking people!
