Located in Hatfield, Arkansas is designed to reach the motorcycle world. To become a member you must go through a basic ministry course and declare your faith in Jesus Christ as your savior. The CMA was founded by Herb Shreve in 1975 - a pastor who was having a difficult time reaching his son for the Lord. He began riding motorcycles with him to spend more time and to reach him with the Gospel. This venture led to the forming of the CMA and a ministry that is now international. Herb Shreve retired in 1994 and his son Herbie took over as director until his resignation in the year 2000. The CMA is run by a board of directors gathered from all around the United States. Some of the ministries of the CMA are:
Ministry Teams - Specialized ministry in First Aid, Hospitality, Music, Prison Outreach, Women's Outreach, Mechanics, Children's Outreach, Servant Ministry, Prayer and Youth Ministry.
Run For the Son - A one day fund raiser to supply Bibles, Motorcycles and evangelism tools such as the Jesus Film for overseas ministries. Over $20 million has been raised and over 10 million decisions for Christ.
CMA International Coalition - 26 nations now have a branch of CMA in them. These countries reach out to prisons and outlaw groups who ride.
Iron Mountain - A 100 acre Retreat, Conference and Camping complex for holding rallies and training motorcyclists how to minister effectively among biker groups.
Seasons of Refreshing - Rallies held in various cities around the country to build up those who belong to CMA. The rallies are taught by area evangelists.
Area Evangelists - These are people who have dedicated themselves to attending secular and Christian motorcycle rallies in their area of the country. At present there are 8 full times evangelists traveling around the US.
Motorcycle Accessories - Wearing apparel, patches, buckles, rings, teaching and witnessing study materials are made available to members of CMA.
Heartbeat - A publication produced by CMA that is sent to all its members to inform them of the itineraries of the Evangelists and of the rallies that are being held across the US.
Changing of the Colors - The annual rally of CMA, held in Hatfied, Arkansas in the fall of each year. Thousands of bikers from across the US attend.
